Lynx Sliding Gate Hardware offer a range of Sliding Gate Tracks. This includes a V track, a 16mm U track and a more heavy duty 20mm U track. The track you use will depend on the size of the gate you are installing and also the wheels you wish to use.
The V track corresponds to the Y groove wheels and the U tracks correspond to the U groove wheels. The sliding gate tracks are fixed to the ground through ram set nails. It is important to note that sliding gates are not ideal for heavy commercial applications; as heavy trucks and vehicles drive over these sliding gate tracks they can be easily ripped from the ground and bent. If you need a sliding gate for a heavy, commercial application a cantilever system is recommended. (Click on the following drawings and links below for information and purchase)
